Mysterious charm of Old Ladoga

Though over the past years Old Ladoga has been considerably often spoken of,
a lot of its mysteries are still hidden even from the nature experts. As to
those not professionaly connected with history and archeology, their
knowledge of the ancient capital of Russia are rather superficial. It
consists a scanty information about the Princes Rurick and Oleg, ads like
«Ancieat Ladoga - the First Russian Capital», «St.George Church - the
Ladoga Bride» etc. Meanwhile Ladoga's history is insredibly fascinating and
full of unsolved mysteries and the Ladoga land keeps secrets of the past
centuries that were spent in eternal peace among the hills and
burial-mounds.

We don't aspire to know the Ladoga's history thoroughly, but, creating this
