The teachers from the institutes of Esterboggnia visited the schools of Volhovsky district

Recently the administrative workers and the institute teachers from Finland have visited the teachers of Volhovsky district. They came from a region Esterboggnia that has a long-term relationship with our municipal educational authorities. In the past few years Volhovsky district and Finnish commune Krunubu several times have exchanged the delegations of teachers and schoolchildren. The present visit of the Finns is related to their interest to Russian educational system. The town Syas’stroy that is one of the biggest centers of the district became the first stop for the delegation. A creative team of teachers of this school expected the delegation since morning. They created a children orchestra of music instruments “Sadko” that became a symbol of Volhovsky district. It\s participants and some other talented kids pleased the guests with their performance. The Finns visited a secondary school No. 1 of this town then where they met the teachers and presented the lessons and then went to a training college No. 24. The program of Finnish delegation included the visit to Old Ladoga school. They were supposed to contact their colleagues and to see the school museum. An excursion around the ancient village that recently celebrated its 1250th anniversary left a lot of impressions.
