The congress participants in Old Ladoga

October 4 the delegation of participants of the IV congress of the historical cities and regions of Russia arrived to Old Ladoga. On the day of anniversary celebration in August 2003 Old Ladoga was accepted to the Union of historical cities and regions of Russia. A certificate and the flag of the Union were delivered to the deputy chief of the administration of Volhovsky District L. Vaganova. People who contributed into the preservation of our historical and cultural heritage were awarded with medals “For the tribute to the heritage of Russia” (the supreme form of honor of the Union).
