The President enrolled into a student team

     The President of Russia Vladimir Putin visited the Russian State library on November 28 where he talked to the general manager about the needs of the library and met with the scholars-historians to discuss the interpretation of the history of Russia of the present days. Professor A. Kirpichnikov who participated in the discussion did not loose his chance to attract the attention of the President to Old Ladoga. The President incautiously promised to spend his vacation in Old Ladoga working at the archeological excavations together with the students. Most probably the leader of Old Ladoga archeological expedition 2004 will not have problems with the volunteers after such an affirmation.
